Optimisation of Quarry Production
The ultimate goal of Gears programme of self-funded research is the creation of a Mine to Mill system that is focused on fully optimizing quarry production and can be tailored to individual quarries.
This is an extremely complex process influenced by hundreds of interacting factors and has only become an achievable goal through the application of advanced Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and the accessibility of very high computing power.
Gears recognize that M2M is an ambitious and long term goal and therefore, in order to deliver smaller, but none-the-less significant, benefits to our customers we have broken the M2M process down into incremental parts. These individual M2M stages and associated commercial benefits can be delivered much more quickly.
