The consultancy services provided by Gears are closely linked to our R&D work and also draw on over 50 years of combined specialist ground engineering experience from founder Paul McMillan and Director Thomas Clifford.
This allows us to operate at the leading edge of many areas of Ground Engineering such as rock mechanics, rock slope stability, rock slope risk assessment and management, quarry design, blasting, earthworks and material management, slope stability, waste management and expert witness work to name but a few. We also offer specialist monitoring services liked to our quarrying consultancy work.We currently work with quarry operators, other larger consultants, local authorities and Forestry England.
